Students who want to be accepted to a great college should know about the eight “multiple intelligences” that are discussed in Howard Garnder’s book Frames of Mind. Developing these “multiple intelligences”starts with developing linguistic and logical-mathematical intelligence. But, as Gardner’s explains, these two intelligences do not describe the whole of what he calls “human capacity.” Rather, they are just two pieces of a larger picture that college admissions committees are looking for.
